Walk Towards

Learning to move without the predictability of success, but to instead, follow the intuitive pull towards something we can’t see but feel deeply, is the ultimate marker of the most beautiful thing: trust in yourself.

Walk towards.
That’s our only guidance.
All that we need to know.

Not what we’ll see or experience.
Not who we’ll meet or become along the way.
Not the payoff, guarantee, or return on investment.

The only thing we must do is walk towards.

Walk towards the peace.
Follow the crumbs that light our path.

Pick them up, one by one.
Collect them.
Read them for what they are—signs that someone cared enough about us to leave a trail for us to follow.

That someone knew we’d be coming this way, and they wanted us to know that yes—this is the path.

There may not be big green highway signs.
There won’t likely be droves of people heading in the same direction providing assuredness that where we’re headed is safe and okay—familiar.

No.
We won’t have such certainty, such security.

And that is as it’s meant.

This is your path.
Your road to walk.

The crumbs?
You left those.

You aren’t finding them—your spirit is remembering.

Move towards.

The path may become dim.
The space between the crumbs wider.

But this is the way.
You know it in your core.

So while you might not know the final destination, trust that this path is for you.

The trees bend at your arrival.
The grass parts at the sound of your feet.
The leaves offer shade when the sun shines bright upon you.

The animals look on in awe at your presence, having waited excitedly for your arrival.

Your friends are stationed along the way waiting to meet you…for the two of you to collide and spark magic.

Sparks.
Magic.

You are on your way.

Close your eyes.
Take a deep, deep breath.
And another.

You are on your way.
Your way.

So when the road goes quiet, and you’re walking weary or alone, take joy in the solitude.

Experience it as reverence.
Simple, sacred reverence for all that you are
for this beautiful journey you are on.

Don’t be discouraged.
This path is yours.

There is no one more familiar—no one who knows this way more or better than you.

So when you feel lost—
that doesn’t mean you’re lost your way.

Close your eyes.
Listen to your heart.
